Maria João came to beclinique looking for a solution that would restore her confidence to smile, speak and live without feeling self-conscious. Over the years, she had forgotten what it was like to taste food naturally, and whenever she smiled or spoke, she felt the need to cover her mouth with her hand because she was ashamed of her smile.
Following a detailed assessment, a complete restoration of the upper arch was carried out using dental implants and a fixed implant-supported prosthesis, restoring not only the function and aesthetics of the patient’s smile, but also enabling them to enjoy flavours once again, speak with confidence and smile spontaneously.
With the support of our multidisciplinary team and our in-house dental prosthetics laboratory, BeLab, we were able to provide Maria João with a personalised, comfortable and natural solution, tailored to her needs.
More than just dental restoration, this treatment transformed her quality of life. Today, Maria João is smiling again without covering her mouth; she has regained her self-esteem and confidence, and is once more living with the freedom she had long since lost.
